Four steps to get your property off the grid.

01

Geophysical Survey

Doing geophysics before drilling is critical because it helps you reduce risk, save money, and increase the success of striking water. Drilling is expensive, and doing it blindly (without understanding what lies underground) can lead to failure — such as missing groundwater, hitting dry rock, or damaging infrastructure.

02

Borehole Drilling

Borehole drilling involves creating a deep well and then installing casing (typically steel or pvc casing) to prevent the borehole from collapsing. Proper casing is crucial for structural integrity.

03

Pump & Chemical Analysis Test

A borehole yield test measures the sustainable volume of water an aquifer can provide over time. The results determine the appropriate borehole pump and tank sizes needed for consistent water supply.

SANS 241 chemical analysis tests verify drinking water quality against the South African National Standard, covering a range of characteristics using methods like wet chemistry (e.g., titration, precipitation) and electrochemistry (e.g., pH, conductivity). The tests assess parameters like dissolved oxygen, turbidity, acidity/alkalinity, and the presence of various chemical contaminants to ensure the water meets acceptable quality limits.

04

Pump & Filtration Installation (Off Grid Solution)

After a successful borehole yield test and chemical analysis, the next step is to design and install the pump, tanks, and filtration system based on the results and your specific needs. This involves selecting the correct-sized pump for the sustainable yield, a filtration system if the water quality requires it, and appropriate storage tanks.
